-
What does a typical consulting engagement look like?
No two projects are the same, but here’s a common flow:
Discovery Call – We clarify your goals, challenges, and scope
Proposal – You receive a detailed plan with timeline, deliverables, and investment
Engagement Phase – This may include site visits, staff interviews, program review, or hands-on development
Implementation & Support – We deliver tools, documents, trainings, and follow-up strategy
We can work in short bursts or long-term partnership, depending on your bandwidth and needs.
-
Do you work in person or virtually?
Both. We travel to client sites for on-the-ground immersion, but also provide virtual consulting via Zoom, and other collaboration tools. Many projects use a hybrid model.
-
What is your consulting philosophy?
We believe:
Your people are your strongest asset—not your program design or gear
Growth without alignment leads to burnout—we help you build from the roots up
Reflection is strategic—clarity leads to action
Outdoor work is sacred work—and should be structured with care, equity, and purpose
We bring both operational acumen and depth psychology to the table—because real change needs both structure and soul.
-
How much do your consulting services cost?
We price transparently and fairly, billing at 50-75% of project cost upfont.
Consulting is offered as:Hourly sessions for short-term advising or project guidance
Per diem rates for site visits, trainings, or strategic facilitation
Project-based pricing for longer-term consulting or development contracts
Sliding scale rates for grassroots, BIPOC-led, or veteran-founded organizations
We work hard to make our services accessible while sustaining high integrity and impact.
